Certainly in the first more die from c-19 which is a negative. Nevertheless it may encourage individuals and government’s to emphasize healthy eating and exercise over short term pseudo-saviours (see Boris’s words) like vaccines. However in the first government’s realize they can’t just destroy willy-nilly people’s jobs, businesses, education, liberties, social lives, access to gyms AND OUTDOOR TENNIS COURTS because eventually there may be a vaccine. Lockdown has set a terrible precedent and who can doubt that government’s now having got a taste for authoritarianism won’t continue in the same vein. It’s ludicrous to suggest that vaccines are the mark but it’s also unwarranted to deny that a future individual may gain inspiration from lockdown measures and take them to the extreme.
